Welcome to the Lone Pine Agricultural Society

Gone are the days of the steam-powered tractors, the threshers, the nine-horse teams ... still remaining are many rural communities originally built by those early homesteaders. And Lone Pine is no exception. Neighbours in the Lone Pine Alberta area get together over coffee, help each other during the fall harvest, with calving, and even get together for social activities at the local community hall.

Operated by the Agricultural Society, events planned for 2018 and held at the Lone Pine Hall include:

We also rent out our hall for weddings, memorial services, meetings, and so on. For information on renting the Lone Pine Hall for your next event, please call Joanne Hannah at 403-335-4190.

The Ag Society also presents a Scholarship to students who have lived in the surrounding community of the Lone Pine Hall.

Since 1985, the Lone Pine Ag Society has honoured a local citizen for dedicated service to the rural community with the JC McCulloch Award. This award is presented at the Society's Annual General Meeting.

Our Hall is located 16 miles east of Didsbury on the banks of the Lone Pine Creek. The Hall has been in continuous operation since it was constructed in 1924.
